Concept and Process
Ana Ventura is a Portuguese visual artist whose work spans illustration, painting, comics, and sculpture - a practice defined by bold colors, playful compositions, and a distinctly personal visual language that offers visitors a vivid and cohesive window into her artistic universe.
Our goal in designing her website was to create a digital space that mirrors her creative world - colorful, dynamic, and intuitively organized. The visual identity embraces the pop sensibility of her work while maintaining a sense of clarity and lightness that lets each piece speak for itself.
Each medium was approached with its own dedicated viewing experience. Paintings are presented individually to highlight their detail and texture, while comics retain their grid-based format to preserve narrative flow. Drawings, digital illustrations, and sculptures each have layouts tailored to enhance their visual rhythm and presence.
